Cocker Spaniels and the Third Age

Because of their gentle nature, Cocker Spaniels make excellent pets, particularly for those in their Third Age – the Over 50s.

In particular, Cocker Spaniels make wonderful companion dogs for the elderly. Their gentle nature and their willingness to please makes them the ideal companion dog for any Third Ager, requiring only as much exercise as their owner is able to provide.

So if you are in your Third Age and looking for the ideal companion dog, perhaps you should consider the Cocker Spaniel!

Cockers are a brilliant companion for ‘active oldies!’
My parents, who are both in their mid 70’s, bought a cocker spaniel puppy which is the light of their life – even when she is naughty! A highly recommended companion with simply oodles of love to share.

I have a blue roan. He was lovely but sadly passed away last year, and I will get another one. He was naughty did what he thought was right and had selective deafness when it suited him, but I loved him all the same. He is sadly missed.
